APPOINTMENTS
Walk-ins are welcome, however, advanced bookings are recommended to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. A credit card number is required at the time of reservation for a confirmed appointment. You can make your reservation online or calling us at (571) 284-5133. After you book online, you will receive confirmation by e-mail and/or by telephone. Credit card is required to secure all appointments.
CHECK IN
Please check in at the spa reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment in order to complete the intake form, have a brief conversation with your massage therapist regarding your medical history and to discuss what you hope to accomplish with your massage treatment. It also helps to be early in order to relax and to allow you to free your mind.
Also, we recommend to arrive 5-10 minutes early for Champaka’s complimentary Thai Citrus Herbal Foot scrub.
ARRIVING LATE
If you are late to your session you are welcome to the remaining time of your scheduled appointment. Unfortunately, due to our tightly booked schedule we are generally unable to extend a session beyond the original appointed time. Regardless of the length of the service given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with no charge by giving us notice no less than 24 hours preceding your appointment.
Cancellations or appointment changes made with less than 24 hours notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service price or half of one accrued but unused Membership Massage.
If you do not call to cancel or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service or one full accrued but unused Membership Massage.
MEMBERSHIP
The initial term of Membership Agreement is a 6 month(s). After initial 6-month period, your Membership will automatically renew month to month.
You may cancel Membership at any time after initial 6 Month term. All cancellation notices may be delivered to us (a) in person, at the spa; (b) by registered or certified mail, at Spa address; or (c) by email sent to spa email address thaimassage.champaka@aol.com. Your Agreement will remain in effect until the end of your then-current Billing Cycle.
SPA ETIQUETTE
To preserve a harmonious environment within the spa, mobile phones and electronic devices should be set on silent. In order to maintain a healthy environment, we ask guests who are feeling ill (with symptoms of colds, fevers, flu, etc.) to reschedule their appointment to a later date.
Receiving a massage during the onset of illness or toward the end of its progression is not advised. During the early phases, a massage (which promotes blood circulation) can accelerate the infection and intensify its severity. Additionally, if you get a massage after the infection has peaked you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION
Guests who are pregnant or those with high blood pressure, heart conditions, or any other medical conditions are required to inform our practitioners or spa receptionist. Your safety is important to us and your treatment may require special considerations.
VALUABLES
We strongly recommend that our guests not wear jewelry to the spa. The management accepts no responsibility for the loss of money or valuables brought to the facilities.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Champaka Thai Massage & Spa provides the highest quality therapeutic massage. We have a Zero Tolerance Policy when it comes to inappropriate behavior. If any behavior is considered inappropriate, including touching, sexual innuendo and/or rude requests, the session will be terminated immediately and full payment is expected.
GRATUITIES
Our massage therapists aim to provide you with the highest quality massage treatments. Although gratuities are not required, they are greatly appreciated. The typical gratuity ranges from 15-20% of the price of the service.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
All major credit cards and cash are accepted.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Champaka Thai Massage & Spa gift certificates are not refundable or redeemable for cash, however, gift cards are 100% transferable. Gift certificates are available for purchase for any value amount and are redeemed for massage services only and no cash value. Champaka Thai Massage & Spa is not responsible for lost, stolen, unauthorized card use, or damaged gift cards. Only Champaka Thai Massage & Spa gift certificates are accepted. SpaFinder or SpaWish gift cards are NOT accepted.
