Champaka Thai Massage & Spa is a family run business founded by 3 sisters from Prachinburi , Thailand. We are 3rd generation Traditional Thai Massage Therapists with skills handed down from our grandparents. Thai Massage is our passion and our life's work. We've observed Traditional Thai Massage relieve chronic / accuate pain and improve physical and mental well-being countless times.
Our dream is to bring authentic Traditional Thai Massage to USA to share the therapeutic healing properties with our community and neighbors. Our greatest form of payment is good karma received from our clients by treating their ailments and increasing their well being.

OUR NAME
Champaka, or Magnolia Champaca, is a flower native to Southeast Asia used for worship in temples, worn in hair by women as a beauty ornament and as a natural perfume. Our family's last name is Jumpaburi which, in Thai, means land of the Champaka flower. Our Spa is named to honor our grandfather, a Traditional Thai Medical (TTM) practitioner, who taught us Traditional Thai Massage 4 generations ago.

Champaka Thai Massage & Spa logo represents the classical Thai dance hand gesture of the Royal Thai Ballet symbolizing picking of a young Champaka flower. The Champaka logo was registered as a trademark in 2017.
THAI VILLAGE LIFE
Prachinburi is rural agricultural village located in eastern Thailand with low-lying plains and valleys surrounded by hills and mountains. The land is very fertile and produces a wide variety of crops. Our family are hard working farmers. Our sister performs Traditional Thai Massage in the village. A classical style of Thai Massage originates from the eastern Thailand region and used by common folk to relieve sore muscles from work in farm fields. Our work ethic is derived from these experiences, where at a young age, we learned how to put in a honest hard day's work on a farm.
AMERICAN & VETERAN SUPPORTED
My husband served with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) throughout the 1990's and is a veteran of 1st Persian Gulf War. In many respects, our business originates from his service in SE Asia. His first encounter with Traditional Thai Massage was working as a Foreign Military Advisor removing landmines in Cambodia. Traditional Thai Massage was used to relieve chronic and acute pain. When I met my husband 15 years later, he was suffering from severe chronic lower back pain from years of carrying a rucksack and in need of back surgery. After applying stretching and starting a Traditional Thai Massage regiment, his lower back pain was cured and no longer requires surgery. He has become an advent supporter of Traditional Thai Medicine (TTM) + Thai Massage.
